Description

Made in the UK Tubela Model 32, or JD2 Model 32 Tubebender compatible 180deg Former and Guide set. OD (Outside Diameter) and Gas (NB), CHS Circular Hollow Section sizes. *Check tube min/max thickness in the Specification tab.

In each set you receive:

1 x 180deg Former with an 1"1/4OD Pin hole (unless otherwise stated in the description), for your chosen size. (Each Former is precision CNC machined from 355 grade Steel billets making them very durable).

1 x Guide block with Inserts, for your chosen size, with an 1"1/4OD Pin hole. (Inserts are a durable alloy which helps to avoid marking your tube).

1 x Tube Strap, for your chosen size.

1 x Angle Indicator rod.

Specification

Specification

The Model 32’s bending capacity is: 1/2"OD to 2"1/2OD Tube or 1/2"NB to 2"NB Pipe, or upto 1"1/2Square steel. Rated to bend 2"OD x 6.35mmwall or 2"1/2OD x 3mm wall, and it has the strength to bend 1"1/2OD solid Steel!!

NOTE: hydraulics are required to bend tube over 2"OD x 3mm wall, square over 1”1/2 or solid bar over 1"OD.

Former Radii is the CLR or Centre Line Radius of the bend.

** to bend Aluminium you will need our Acetal Inserts here. Please contact us if in any doubt.

Note: this tooling is very heavy due to the Formers being machined from Steel billets. For example an 1" x 4.5" set weighs 11kg and a 2" x 6.5" set weighs 27kg. Carriage costs do reflect this.
